Polymer clay is surprisingly lightweight and flexible. However, it is a tiny work of art, so we recommend treating it with care—try not to drop it on hard surfaces, toss it into a heavy bag, or shove into an overloaded bookshelf.

We use high-quality, professional grade elastic designed for durability. While it’s made to fit with books of varying sizes, we recommend not over-stretching beyond a standard 10” book height to keep the tension.

Absolutely! While these were designed with physical, printed books in mind, many of our “book-bound souls” use the elastic band to add a bit of personality to their e-reader cases or to keep their tablet covers securely closed.
